Chronicles of the Overlord – Lockdown Accomplishments
Commencing operation . . .
Overview
The United Kingdom has been granted a respite from the lockdowns for a couple of months. With this newfound freedom, I am certain many are looking forward to getting out and about to enjoy the sun. However, I think it would be good to take a step back and reflect on some of the accomplishments that have been achieved throughout these lockdowns.
I wrote a post detailing my successes after coming out of the first lockdown, but this time around, rather than talk about my achievements, I want to focus on a few of my friends for this post.
Bundts and Buns
A friend of mine was furloughed for a great deal of time during the first lockdown. With ample time on her hands, she decided to create a small bakery business, selling a unique type of cake known as a bundt.
Now I typically am not the biggest fan of cakes, but I can attest to the quality of cake she can bake!

Galeriaopolosis
A fellow Karateka from Wales started selling her paintings during the second lockdown. She is sixteen years of age and a self-taught artist. It just goes to show what can be achieved with time, dedication and the right mindset.
That is the painting I decided to buy.

Camper Van
This mate of mine has been working on a van conversion project for about a year now and it has reached its final stages. It has not been an easy road, however. A couple of months ago, a few thieves tried to steal the vehicle and almost succeeded in their heinous act. Fortunately, their attempt ended in failure but it did cause a delay in the project, as the van had to be taken for repairs, and fitted with better security features.
Once completed, there are potential plans for us to do a few road trips Persona 5 The Strikers style!
Conclusion
I hope you were able to make the best use of your time during lockdown like my three friends. If not, it’s never too late to start something new! And who knows, it just may end up becoming a positive pivotal moment in your life.
