Overview
In the past, I have resorted to oatcakes to satisfy my crunch at lunch, although I do indulge in crisps also. I am always on the lookout for substitute options, however, and while browsing my local supermarket, I came across Emily Veg Thins and their beauty of a product.
Emily Veg Thins
There are various flavours, but the one I have been consuming recently is the sea salt, corn, pea, black bean and red lentil flavour.

Discussion
These tortilla shaped chips are pretty healthy and are loaded with lots of fibre and protein. Although there is a lot of carbohydrates, just over a gram is due to naturally occurring sugars. Thankfully there is only a pinch of salt included so most people shouldn’t have any issues on that front.
Conclusion
One thing I really like about these chips is that they are not moreish like a lot of other crisp products I have had in the past. I get through a bag of these in 3 days, whereas other products I have been known to devour a whole bag in a single sitting.
Emily Veg Thins are an exciting alternative to potato-based crisps, especially if you want to enjoy your spuds differently!
