Get Stretched – Posture Correction Tools
Commencing operation . . .
Overview
For over a year, the people have been confined to living in a locked-down world, under the justification of stopping the spread of the coronavirus. In such an environment, people have become less active and mobile, and these things can lead to various health problems if not managed appropriately.
If you are like me, then you have been spending the majority of your days over the past year sat at a desk. Sitting down for extended periods is a proven cause of back-related issues. Having suffered lower back pain for half a year in 2018, I never want to experience it again. Ever!
I recently came across a couple of nifty posture correction tools that I want to share with you today.
Neck-Correct
First up, I want to discuss is a tool called Neck-Correct. What it does, is stretch your neck muscles and creates extra space between your spinal discs. It can also straighten the alignment of your spine.
My spine is skewed slightly to the left, so wearing the device is a way to help correct that aspect of my posture. Given that I also do a lot of martial arts training, which invariably involves getting hit from time to time, having a device that can alleviate neck pain is a great addition.
Posture Corrector
The second of the two is the Posture Corrector. It is a brace that is worn over the upper body and helps pull the shoulders back to prevent slouching. I have had sub-optimal posture for years and have wanted to procure an item such as this for a long while, but never got around to doing so until now, and boy do I wish I had snagged one sooner.
As a fighter, my upper body tends to become quite stiff, with shoulders rolled up and forward for a tight guard, or for throwing a punch while using the shoulder to protect the chin. The Posture Corrector is a great way for me to correctly realign my body and can be worn all day long.
Conclusion
I have been using these two tools for mere weeks, and I have already noticed an improvement in my posture. I feel more upright particularly when standing, but even when sitting also. I have been wearing the Posture Corrector practically all day long, whereas the Neck-Correct I tend to wear a few times a day.
These tools are most effective when supplemented with a regular exercise routine. If you have spinal related pains, I recommend giving the products a try. You could feel better in a matter of weeks!
On a completely unrelated note, came across this guy yesterday and managed to snap a picture.
