Games are great. Nothing much beats an evening with a few close mates seated round the table, throwing dice, flipping cards, loading miniatures onto a board, all for the sake of achieving that oh so glorious victory! I am hugely passionate about gaming in general; A passion that ignited from my early childhood, and only burned stronger as I aged throughout the years. Gaming provided me with another much-needed method to pass the time while growing up. I was an outcast and friends were far and few between, so I turned my attention to reading books and playing games as a means to keep myself occupied and help maintain a reasonably healthy level of sanity.

In the Gaming Zone, I will be reviewing, discussing, and recommending my favourite games. There is also scope and potential for me to run through strategies for some of the games that I have had a lot of experience with. The ultimate aim of this article series is to spread awareness of the vast treasure trove of games that exist. Some games are straightforward yet very fun and rewarding to play. Others are highly complex, epic in scale and are a real gem of an experience to participate in. No matter whether you are a gaming newbie or a seasoned, hard-core veteran, fear not, the Gaming Zone has you covered and catered for.
